Bowtie of the Month Club Review + Unboxing

*product was received free for review

Despite my gender I really enjoy the men's subscription boxes. I find myself looking at them often. Probably because the element of surprise is much greater with products that I've never used. I have to say I'm fond of the masculine elements as well. And of course I also love their elegant simplicity. There just seems to be less fuss with men's things. And with that I give you

Bowtie of the Month Club

"For your dandyish enjoyment"

A gentlemen's subscription box that sends you a handmade bowtie each month.
You select the style bowtie (there are three)
*Batwing
*Thistle
*Diamond

3 months for $79
6 months for $129
and 12 months for $249

If you would like to just buy a month you can check out their absolutely fantastic Etsy shop called the Wickham House where they have a superb selection of men's bowties!

walkin the dogs

This summer I'm doing something totally outside myself
I've been out and about almost every weekday and out running errands on the weekends.
I feel like I need to get my kids MOVING you know.
And I used the most awful and APT metaphor today

walkin the dogs.....

You know so your dog doesn't get crazy, you walk him.
I do that with kids, get em out and doing stuff so they don't go crazy go nuts.
Today we did a pretzel twisting class
Tomorrow we are picking sugar plums
Monday we did a petting zoo

It feels good to be alive

Sunday Soup: Bacon wrapped Brussel Sprouts

Do you guys remember when I used to make blog posts about soup on Sundays?
Then it became summer and I realized, it's a little hot for soup?
I've decided whenever I do a recipe now, it's just going to be titled Sunday Soup because I like that and it's mine!

Anyway, Mr. I'm Not a Tree has a pretty famous, spectacular recipe.

Bacon wrapped Brussel Sprouts

I wanted to share because not only are these babies delicious, they are super easy to make!

Here it is guys:
*Thaw bacon
*Cut bacon strips in half
*wrap Brussel sprouts in the bacon
*Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes

TADA! and You're welcome!

*sidenote: Notice none of my w's are capitalized, Oliver spilled an entire cup of coffee on my laptop. It does work, miraculously however some keys and the track pad are a little wonky... hopefully not forever!

If you remember I posted about Zakia's Ghassoul Clay Mask a month or so ago. Today I am going to show you a couple of their other products that I tried and am really happy with.

Let me just say firstly how I think Zakia's Morocco products are a "match" for my skin type. I haven't had a single product I couldn't use which is pretty common for me as I have extremely dry skin and hair.

And good news for YOU my readers, I have an exclusive coupon for 20% off your next Zakia's purchase.
