Here's the Box Breakdown
first look in the nmnl box
Our first glimpse inside the nmnl Subscription Box. We haven't been this excited in a long time to open a box!

what's in the nmnl box
Everything that we received in our nmnl Subscription Box for February, There are 6 full sized items and the mix is so colorful and fun... such a stark contrast compared to the actual package. All the hearts guys, all of them!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert comes in the form of this super detailed pamphlet

It tells us about the phrase "No Make No Life" and a little about the actual subscription

Each item is detailed and the photos are on shiny paper and it's just all super nice quality!

puchi animal hand cream
This hand cream has it's own silicone carrying case so you can use it on the go! There were three different scents available in the nmnl box - soap, rose and honey.

The formula is really thick and nourishing and we received the soap scent which is fresh and clean!

zawachin x noyl eyeshadow palette
This palette was created by NOYL Cosmetics and popular Japanese TV personality Zawachin. Each palette has 12 shades and there are 4 palettes available. Ours is super shimmery with blues, browns, and purples.

What we find most appealing is that this is a really affordably priced palette for the quality. It's currently sold for 430 Yen which is about $3.78 USD! For the quality this is an amazing deal. These swatches are all done with just one pass of the finger!

Really loving how creamy these are. So pretty - and that gold tho... all the hearts!

sailor moon false eyelashes
Probably the coolest item included in the February nmnl box were these Sailor Moon Eyelashes.  Each pair has some "highlights" of either pink, blue, orange or green. Ours are orange! Also love that they come with their own case, each respective eyelash color has a matching case - and it's reusable!

sakura facial bar soap
Sakura Leaf Extract helps prevent dry skin so this aromatic soap is nourishing and hydrating. We love the packaging - it almost looks like some sort of dessert!

hello kitty sakura facial masks
These Sakura Facial Masks come in this adorable Hello Kitty resealable bag and contain Sakura or Cherry Blossom Extract, Tea Extract and Hyaluronic Acid to help moisturize. There are 8 in this package (which is a LOT!)

There are instructions for use on the back - these are very much like other sheet masks.

dollywink eyelash glue
This eyelash glue was created by Japan's most popular "gyaru"  model. Use it with your new Sailor Moon False Eyelashes. The formula is long lasting and can withstand sweat, water and is virtually tear proof. The packaging of this is super cute - definitely the cutest for an eyelash glue we've ever seen!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The nmnl box is a brand new way to experience Japanese Beauty and Skincare and we love that they send full sized products for us to try. We loved everything we received and can't wait to see what they come up with in the future! The presentation is excellent. Love the packaging and the insert and everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic. Each item is wonderful and super cute! Curation is perfect. Each item is virtually unheard of in the US so we get to experience new and different beauty products. We also LOVE that each satisfies a different need and there's no repetitive feeling!
