what's in the may ya box
Everything that we received in the May Young Adult Bookcase Club Box. Another month of fun books to read!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert comes in the form of a bookmark and lists both of our selections for the month on it.

Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong
sea of shadows by kelley armstrong
Moria and Ashyn, the keepers and seekers of the Forest of the Dead have the perilous task of quieting the souls of the enraged damned. The sisters are separated though by an ancient evil and have to find their way back to each other. Traveling through the barren wasteland that homes monsters and horrific creatures to warn the emperor and once there find an awful secret

This sounds quite spooky. This will definitely be a daytime book for us!

The Diviners by Libba Bray

Sent off to New York City, Evie O'Neill is thrilled to be a part of the 1926 New York atmosphere save for the fact that she has to live with her occult obsessed uncle. Evie hides her own supernatural power from him until a young girl is murdered and Evie realizes she can help catch her killer

This also looks sort of spooky (less than the first book though) but still promises to be a great read!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Bookcase Club Subscription Box is a an inexpensive way to always have a book handy! We love the range of genres they carry, there's something for everyone. The presentation is great everything arrives perfectly. The quality is awesome - these are both New York Times Bestsellers which is pretty exciting. And curation is always great. Both of these books are young adult and appeal to a wide range of readers! Bookcase Club is an awesome book subscription box!
