Here's the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Sephora Play! for April
Everything that we received in our Sephora Play for April. The theme is "Beauty Routine Queen" and we have to say this bag is awesome!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert and bag for this month
Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
The insert suggest using this during a double cleanse (using an oil cleanser first and then a foam cleanser in one of your two daily washes). We like the color of this but haven't actually tried it yet to see how it works
Make Up Forever Aqua XL Eye Pencil
We are always kind of ugh when we get a black liner but we have to say this one is amazing!
You have a lot of control with the pencil and can big and bold or light and subdued. The formula is super creamy and STAY PUT. We were sure with how creamy this was it was going to move all over the place but it didn't!
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
So, this isn't a complete loss for us but... we have about six of these already. It's an okay primer but just seems to settle in every line and pore when it really is supposed to blur! The texture is really silky though which is nice but we are just kind of tired of receiving this!
Philosophy Made Simple Face Cleanser
We are probably most excited about receiving this award winning cleanser from Philosophy. It's a double duty cleanser that acts as a makeup remover, toner and hydrator!
Miu Miu L'Eau Bleue
At first this had a nice light scent... much like other water / aqua scents with those notes of florals but then it gave us a head ache and we were like... NAH!
Peter Thomas Rother Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream
So, this moisturizer is a doozy to say but basically it moisturizes. It's lightweight and contains three different kinds of hyaluronic acid! We honestly thought Peter Thomas Roth did just hair care, we are excited to try this out
So in summary
While this month's Sephora wasn't the best ever it wasn't awful and for the $10 that it cost we received well over $20 in items (we couldn't find a few prices). Definitely still a great buy!
