Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpses inside Maker Monthly
Here is everything that I received in the September Maker Monthly Box
There is absolutely a central focus on aesthetics in this box. With a very Earthy brown, I almost want to use the word upcycling to describe the curation style. Love the gift tag I received a handwritten touch is always nice.

So, what is all this stuff?

The hippest kind of notes you can take, field notes
I received three different books. One with graph paper, one with ruled paper, and another that has just blank sheets. Each has 48 sheets and 3 staples
The graph paper
The ruled paper
And the blank notebook.
I am really glad that these were included and love the size of these! Perfect for taking on the go!
I am not even going to lie. These are probably the coolest No. 2 pencils I am ever going to own.
I love the upcycled style of these and the color (or I should say lack thereof) Field Notes calls this “woodgrain”. The eraser on this pencil is completely biodegradable.
These are super minimalist and purposefully so, the point is to let our ideas shine.
Love this box. I couldn’t wait to open it up and find out what creative related treasures were inside!
The box contained tiny clothespins and paperclip page markers
Love these super sturdy pagemarks!
Six of these little guys were included.
And the itty bitty clothespins that I love oh so very much!
There were three of these included in the Maker Monthly box.

So, in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. Maker Monthly is aesthetically pleasing. Every aspect of this box is pleasing to our eyes as well as our other senses. I find that the sort of absence of bright colors is a plus when it comes to the pure creative process. So presentation is awesome. Curation is great as well. I feel like this box is a great gift for your severely hip friend or an awesome way to get limited edition notebooks without having to go out and procure them yourself. And of course everything is super high quality, durable and of awesome value!
I really enjoyed Maker Monthly and I think that you will too!
