Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Good Being Subscription Box for the month of January
Everything that we received in the January Good Being Box – we love all the skincare products that were included!

So what is all this stuff?

Our detailed Box Inserts. They describe the products – including the prices of each and usage information in detail
Balanced Guru Nourish Me Facial Serum
$22.99
Oh, does this box know me! I love me some face lotions and potions! I had heard of Balanced Guru before receiving this box but wasn’t aware of the breadth of selection they provided. I love the fun names of each of their products. There is also a subscriber only coupon included for Balanced Guru
This face serum comes with a dropper for application as most serums do.
This serum is vegan and safe for pregnant women (AND WOMEN WHO BREASTFEED!) Wahoo!
This has so many more wonderful ingredients than most face serums, it includes; Evening Primrose oil, Jojoba oil, Rosehip oil, and my personal favorite Argan oil! As an added defense against aging this serum also includes encapsulated Shiitake Mushroom, Goji Berry, and Acai Extract.
This is an extremely nourishing facial serum and smells a bit herbally. My skin absorbed it quickly. It  left my skin feeling soft and supple but not greasy.
Balanced Guru Tone It Smoothly Toner
 $9
This was the one item of the trio that we were most surprised with. Typically we’re not big on toners because they (historically) have always dried us out. Having tried all natural and non alcoholic toners has really changed our perception of them, though. This toner is great! We would describe this as a really soothing and mild product. You smell Rose when you spray it but it also has Roman Chamomile, Lavender, and Geranium. This leaves skin feeling refreshed with an evident and healthy glow. If you are looking for a toner that is alcohol free and mild – this is for you

Balanced Guru Face It Off Facial Cleanser
$14.00
This facial cleansing oil isfrom Balanced Guru. Cleansing oils are a new thing for me and I’m starting to realize I should probably be using these because of the extremely delicate nature of my skin. This is an extremely gentle combination of Argan, Sunflower, Apricot, Olive, Baobab and Jojoba Oil.
We love that this has a pump! The idea behind cleansing oils is that they don’t deteriorate the acid mantle on your skin and cleanse by dissolving impurities. This cleanser is vegan! Our skin after using this was left looking dewy and absolutely wonderful. We love the trio of Balanced Guru products that we received
We would recommend this if you suffer from dryness, redness, or are looking for less abrasive ways to cleanse your skin
Curandera Remedies Kapalabati Cold & Sinus Oil
$12
This is an all natural alternative to chest rubs and nasal decongestants. You could smell this as soon as you picked up the bag it was in! Immediate notes of Camphor and Eucalyptus. It is also infused with Rosemary and Spruce which open the sinuses and aids in breathing. And to purify the nasal passages and lungs there is Neem and Lavender as well.
As with all Camphor products this should be used and stored with caution. Far away from the hands of children. I’m not congested at the moment to speak on the effectiveness of this but I can say it smells very much like the over the counter products it falls under the category of. The difference is that this is in oil form and probably a little more easily applied because of the dropper.
The Kapalabati oil is organic, vegan, gluten free, herbal, fair trade, and made with love!
Gia Minerals Mineral Blush in Splendid Rose
$18
There were three different shades of this mineral blush you could have received in the January Good Being Subscription Box. Of the three Stunning, Pretty Pink, and Splendid Rose we received Splendid Rose. It was a nice addition to the box. Firstly, it was the only makeup item which sort of made the box feel “rounder”. Secondly, blush is not a common item included in subscriptions. Needless to say it was a welcome change!
This is a muted pink and oh so very perfect! It does have a slight shimmer to it. Gia Minerals Blush is made with plant based ingredients which give your skin a more natural look.
As far as formula this is magnificent! It’s so soft and satin-y! It glides on for a smooth and even application. The swatch you see on my arm is one swipe and I’d venture to say that you could build that color up or make it a little quieter with just a bit of blending. I really like this blush and think this is a great option for someone looking to use a great quality mineral blush.

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Good Being Subscription Box is an excellent example of what we look for in a natural beauty and wellness box with the added addition that it’s based upon things that you like! We think the presentation is good. Everything arrived exactly as it should and it comes in a cute little box. Quality is awesome. All of the products that we received were impressive in quality as well as sample size. Curation is amazing! We love that we received primarily skincare with just a little makeup! It was perfect for us! We like that this is one of the only beauty boxes in the all natural category that provide any sort of customization as well.
As far as box economy a month to month subscription to the Good Being Box is $21 and for that we received $66 worth of products which is an awesome deal!
