Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Busy Bee Stationary Box
Everything that we received in our Busy Bee Stationary Box. The theme was the “Busy Traveler”
LOVE all of these items!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert and Busy Bee sticker
Write Notepads Pencils
These extra thick pencils have a flair all their own. From Write Notepad Company these no. 2’s are made of the finest wood and graphite
To Counterfeit is DEATH!
Fun and quirky, our personal favorite!
Kum Pencil Sharpener
This Magnesium pencil sharpener has two size options. One of which is perfect for our new thick pencils!
Definitely keeping this sharpener away from the kids so it doesn’t get lost. It’s a great quality!
Uni Jetstream in Orange
This orange Uni Ball pen is totally retractable and in our most favorite color, orange!
Me & My Big Ideas Chipboard Stickers
These fun vacation themed planner stickers are from the same guys who make “The Happy Planner”
These stickers work perfectly with the traveling theme of the box
You get tons of stickers in here, there are four sheets in total. The stickers range from travel themed saying to pictures of planes and other things of that nature
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
We received a Ranger Distress Ink Pad in the color Mermaid Lagoon
The color is a good mix of official and fun! The names of the Distress Inks are a riot, check them out here
7 Gypsies Travel Charms
These three charms are perfect for your travel journal, luggage tags, or just a great way to shake up your scrapbooking! Love the vintage finishes on these three gorgeous pieces! In this same edition there is also a set of Paris themed travel charms which we also thought were mighty pretty
Authentic Life Cards
These pocket cards are intended to be used in pocket scrapbooking a la project life style memory books. However we do not subscribe to the philosophy that something this fun can only be used in one way!
These 3×4 cards make great ways to embellish your travel journal, write a note, scrapbook or plan
And the edition “explore” is clearly an amazing choice for a traveling themed box!
Busy Bee Notepad
This cute little notepad not only matches the pen that we received but also bears the Busy Bee Logo!
This is a great way to jot down notes or would make an excellent mini travel journal. Each section could serve as your starting point for all of your different destinations!
Dear Lizzy Date Stamper
At first glance you may think this is your standard roller stamper just in pink. Alas, it is not. This stamper also has the option to add a little caption to your date. Some are just little patterns, or an arrow; but there’s also “Big Day”, “A Day in the Life”, and “BEST. DAY. EVER.”
We of course used our new Mermaid Lagoon colored ink to pretty our stamper up!
Ta-da! This stamper is a LOT of fun, kind of want to use it on everything!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Busy Bee Stationary Box is a great box for anyone who considers themselves a planner addict, scrapbooker, or letter writer. The presentation is good, everything arrived exactly as it should have. The quality is great! We think this box has loads of high quality paper supplies and apparatus from a variety of different companies. The curation is absolutely phenomenal! We love the theme but even beyond that we have such a variety. Travel is such a broad sub-section but they’ve given us a great sampling of what’s available. There’s something for everyone in this box and for us in particular we loved the pencils and the pencil sharpener!
As far as box economy the Busy Bee Stationary Box costs $39.90 and while we couldn’t find prices for every item we received the items we could find totalled $41.50 alone! We think this is an awesome deal especially if you love to be surprised!
