Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Rad Dad Box for March
Everything that we received in our Rad Dad Box. We love this box – we received a newborn to 6 months old box. Alternatively, there was a teether included for the older baby box.
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert details each item that we received in our box
Rad Dad Pin
We love the pins that they include in each Rad Dad Box!
Vat19 Energy Gummies
Vat19 which may be the coolest site we’ve ever seen, not sure – creates these caffeinated gummy bears. Perfect for those days where you haven’t had a lot of sleep which is pretty much everyday with a newborn (or a 1, 2, 3 year old, but hey we’re trying to be encouraging)
We thought these tasted pretty delicious!
Milk Rice Comics Football Hold Print
Each Rad Dad Box comes with a Milk Rice Comics print. This month is their spin on a football hold for Dad!
Manly Hands Hand Sanitizer by Hands By Heath
Hands by Heath is run by 6 YEAR OLD Heath! This scent is cedary and really quite lovely! Masculine and perfect to keep in the diaper bag. We know it’s “manly” but we’ll be using it as well!
We love that it comes in a bottle with a pump!
Pop Art Camera
This camera works with any 35mm film and gives a “Pop Art” effect to any photo. We love that we’re actually using a camera device – just the item itself has a vintage feeling! Can’t wait to take some pictures with this!
This neat baby toy has soft fabric outside and crinkly plastic inside. Perfect for when baby is at that age where he / she loves to rip and tear!
We love the neutral fabric that we received but there are tons to choose from.
The final item is probably our favorite. It came in a super secret envelope with instructions to give it to your partner. Inside there was a note that asked us to write your spouse and let him know how much you appreciate him. We love this idea and to top it all off the card is ADORABLE!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Rad Dad Box is a really unique idea and we love the concept and think this makes an excellent gift! The presentation is great – everything arrives exactly as it should. The quality is also wonderful, many of these items are handmade and we love that the Rad Dad Box is making supporting small business a priority. The curation is great – we love that everything is sent just for Dad and baby and each is fun and useful!
As far as box economy the Rad Dad Box costs $20 and for that we received well over $25 in items which is an awesome deal!
