Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Apostrophe Box for August.
Everything that we received in our “Literary Mystery” themed box. Next month’s theme is fantasy adventure!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box inserts. One tells us what is in the box, one is a bookmark and the other introduces us to next month’s theme!
After inheriting a bookstore owned by her estranged uncle Miranda Brooks begins to find clues he left just for her. This scavenger hunt leads Miranda to sort together her uncle’s past and a history that kept him from her.
We really like the sound of this book and think we’ll be moving this one to the top of the pile!
Our pound of coffee for this month is from Beanfruit Coffee Co. This dark roast coffee is a blend of Guatemalan, Colombian and Papau New Guinea beans and has notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon, dried fruit and cedar! We can’t wait to try this out!
Our snack for the month is this full sized back of 42 wrapped candies from Bali’s Best. The flavor of these is Cafe Latte and they are super tasty. The outside is hard and inside there is a layer of creamy milk flavored candy! These are made with Sumatran coffee and really have a great coffee taste – would highly recommend these to the coffee lovers out there!
Our bonus for the month is this Iced Macchiato scented, hand poured, soy, mini candle Blue Spider Books. We love these little tins (we usually pass them on as teacher gifts) but this one however… we will not be letting go of.
This smells EXACTLY like Iced Macchiato and even has little coffee bits in it… LOVE!
The final item in our Apostrophe Box is this fabric bookmark with a teacup charm! Love the colors and think this makes a great addition to this box.. for obvious reasons!
A closer look at the charm.
So in summary
Presentation: The Apostrophe Box packages everything wonderfully and this box arrived to us perfectly.
Quality: The quality of the items in this box are fantastic. The book is new and a hardcover and the other items are handmade and well made at that!
Curation: We are really impressed with the selection that we received and LOVE that they switch up the genre each month, making this a great concept for people that enjoy a wide variety of literature (and they let you know the next month’s theme as well)!
