first look in universe bound

Our first glimpse inside the Universe Bound Book Box.

what's in the universe bound box

Everything that we received in our November Universe Bound Book Box #2. There are THREE books included and lots of other fun goodies!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. This lists the items that were included in this month’s box.

We also received 3 bookmarks. We really like the first one!

Another cool paper product that we received is this reading calendar that helps you to keep track of the books you want to both read and order.

Reader’s Journal

This journal will keep you organized and is an excellent reference! We know we’re terrible with details and this sounds like an awesome way to remember! We also think this is a great way to remember who you’ve loaned books too – if that’s something you do!

There’s an index at the beginning and then the rest of the book has entries like the second page. We love how this gives you the ability to go into a lot of detail!

Ylang Ylang Candle from Universe Bound

Our candle for the month is this brightly colored and beautifully scented Ylang Ylang Candle. We love these hexagonal jars and like to clean them out after we burn the candle and use them for plants!

We love how they dusted the top with green sparkles!

Lemon Hibiscus Tea

Our tea for the month is lemon hibiscus and includes a beautiful blend of ingredients like; hibiscus, lemongrass, lemon balm and lemon myrtle. This is an herbal tea so it’s great for snuggling up in the evening in a cozy chair to read.

Coffee Bean and Caramel Candy

Each package from Universe Bound comes with an assortment of 3 different types of candies. We received 10 candies in total and love how they put our monthly treats into these little tins.

Nonni’s Biscotti

Another yummy item that they included in our box for November are two of these delicious Nonni Biscotti! We love these and will enjoy them responsibly (we’re on a diet you know!)

Legacy by Michelle Lowe

This story combines a thief, a lover and a toymaker who go against an evil nemesis. But that same nemesis is also manipulating men and is changing history as they know it. Can they succeed?

This story sounds really great and we think our husband will like it!

Gunpowder Alchemy by Jeannie Lin

Our third and final book in this box is Gunpowder Alchemy, a book that takes place in 1842 and follows Soling who is trying to restore her family’s name.

We are the most excited about this book and can’t wait to dive into it.

Lorna Doone Cookies

Another treat that we received in our Universe Bound Box was this cute little brown paper bag of Lorna Doone Cookies!

Swifty really wanted to try them out! We’ll be splitting these up with the kids.

So in summary

Presentation: Everything arrived to use perfectly in our Universe Bound Box and we love the way they package both our teas and candies.

Quality: We like that they include independent titles that we may not have found out about otherwise. This really helps to diversify our bookshelf.

Curation: This box covers all the bases and hit the nail right on the head! This box was excellent and we are really impressed.
