My first glimpse inside the WizKids Game Crate for June. The theme for this box is “Family Game Night”

Everything that came in my WizKids Game Crate. I am thrilled with this collection because I really feel like they listened and added a game for younger children as well this time around!

So what is all this stuff?

Yummy World

$14.99

First up in our box for the month is Yummy World. A game for children ages 8+. This is a quick game and is a very traditional card based game that features these cute food characters (apparently Yummy World has it’s own line of merch made by Kid Robot so this game serves as an extension of that line).

The rules seem simple to follow making this a great game for the younger ones! I am really happy that they included this game!

In our box are two sets of cards and a rule sheet.

Next up we have a game that seems like it’s the tabletop version of Legends of the Hidden Temple which is cool by me!

This game is great for people ages 12+ and is really quick. It features a “building” process that you’ll need to win.

Inside you’ll find cards and jade tokens as well as your instruction card. I can’t wait to play this one, it looks like a lot of fun.

Letter Go

$24.85

The final game in our package for this month is Letter Go a fun party game great for 3-6 people. This is quick and is labeled as a word game for people that don’t like word games. It kind of reminds me of Pictionary

I think this would be a great for those nights when you have another couple over with some adult beverages – looks like fun!

There’s much more included with this game than the other two. There’s black pegs which I am not sure what those are, instructions, white boards, two sets of cards, a timer, and marker.

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me in perfect condition in this month’s edition of WizKids Game Crate

Quality: I love the packaging and feel like these games are an excellent value for the price. The quality is definitely there but I’ll know more once I’m able to play them!

Curation: I am much more impressed with the games that were included in this month’s box than what was in the first box. Not that I particularly disliked those games but the games I received in this box were much better suited to my family. I can’t wait to see what they do in the future.

Box Economy: For the price of this box ($19.99) I received $60 in games which is an amazing deal!
