My first glimpse inside the January package from BoxyCharm
Everything that came in my January BoxyCharm package. This is a really nice box – probably one of the better ones that I’ve had recently
So what is all this stuff?
My box insert.
Everything in the box is listed on our insert along with their retail values. This box variation is C2101032-BA
The first item in my package is the Dr. Brandt Do Not Age with Dr. Brandt Triple Peptide Eye Cream. Dr. Brandt products are bomb and lately I’ve been seriously hammering eye creams because, you know, it’s never too early. This is a really pricey eye cream so I am hoping that it yields results.
Have you ever heard of a $33 lip balm? Neither have I but I mean… I guess don’t knock it til you try it? This is chock full of sweet orange and coconut essential oils and will nourish your lips as well as protect them from free radicals.
The next item in my box is the palette for the month. This is the Velvet Palette from Ciate. I know I have like 50 palettes but who can resist another? I know I can’t and this one has a beautiful arrangement of beautiful mattes and shimmer shades! I am also a huge fan of this package as well!
The item that I was most excited about in this month’s box is this Laura Gellar Hi Def Glow Illuminator Duo.
The left side lends the skin a beautiful crushed pearl shimmer and the right side is a highly pigmented ultra shine.
Here are the two shades, however they mixed together a bit. I do love the pearlescent one a bit more than I do the right side of the pan.
The final item in my package for the month is the Farmacy Deep Sweet 2% BHA Pore Cleaning Toner. This brand has never let me down in the past so I am certainly looking forward to trying this toner out!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my box from BoxyCharm for January
Quality: The quality of each of the items that BoxyCharm has sourced is incredible. I do love the brands that they manage to include each month.
Curation: I thought this month’s curation was pretty good! I got a good mix of both makeup as well as skincare
Box Economy: For the price of the box ($25) I received $206 in products which is over 8x the cost of the box!
While my box for this month was late the items inside were pretty amazing. It was a great mix of both skincare as well as makeup items and I will definitely be using it all!
