My first glimpse inside my Allure Beauty Box for January.

Everything that came in my January Allure Beauty Box! This is a really great collection of items.

So what is all this stuff?

My box insert. This is a mini magazine that lists each of the items that we will receive in our box for the month.

The first item in my box for the month is worth more than the box itself! That’s awesome. This is the Saturday Skin Rub-a-Dub Refining Peel Gel. I will be honest and say that my skin doesn’t always react well with peeling gels so I will probably pass this on.

Next in my January package from Allure Beauty Box is this Beauty Crop Blush Duo in Mauve-Ulous.

Here are the two shades swatched and I really feel like these are very pretty and a great way to add a bit of flush to the skin.

Then my box has this Imortelle Reset Huile En Serum. This is a sample size of the cult favorite (that I get to try now) and it promises to sink in quickly and leave my skin looking brighter and fresher overnight. The alternative to this product in some boxes is the L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Creme which is basically just the cream version of this serum.

Next is the True + Luscious Super Moisture Lipstick. This is a great lipstick for a no makeup, makeup day.

This is a pretty all natural shade and the formulation is creamy and not the least bit patchy. I really like it. And I really like the packaging as well.

The final physical item in my box for thismonth is the BaseBlue AirSponge. This is a velvety face sponge that is great for concealer, foundation and is also great getting into those little places other brushes cannot!

The final item in my Allure Box for January is this gift card for one set of nail gels from ManiMe. This cool website has unique nail designs and scans photos of your nails to create custom fit gel stickies! Allure subscribers were given five designs to choose from for free and they even got free shipping!

Here is my December Box. Because the mail is and was so behind I received this about a week or two into January so I decided to just post them together. I really thought that the December Box was good too!

Here are each of the items in my December Box. There’s full sized Ciate London palette valued at $24, there’s also a full sized MudMasky Leave Me On Winter Mask valued at $45.85. I am really excited about this product being in my box as well – give me all the hydration. Additionally, there’s a sample of the Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum as well as a sample of the La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum. There’s also a ByMe X MyBeautyBrnad Liquid Eyeliner. This is a new to me brand and this liner retails for $22. I also received some “Beauty Loot” which is a little extra thrown in just for the fun of it!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my boxes from Allure

Quality: I think that Allure does a really good job of pooling together really great products from great brands each month.

Curation: I felt like these mixes were really nice and I received a good mix of both beauty as well as skincare items.
