Subscription Box Review

April Allure Beauty Box

Our first glimpse inside the April Allure Beauty Box.

subscription box review

Everything that we received in our April Allure Beauty Box. This month Carli Bybel helped select the products and we have to say that we are supremely impressed!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. This lists each of the items that we received.

Each page describes why we received that product along with full sized retail values. We didn’t receive these exact items in our box so we were just a bit confused.

Juvia’s Place Custom Eye Shadow Palette

$20

This mini palette from Juvia’s Place was made specifically for Allure Beauty Subscribers.

There were six shade included in total (all of which were beautiful).

These shades are stunning and pigmented which is the absolute winning combination. So glad that we received this!

Luxie 205 Tapered Blending Brush

$12

At almost the cost of this box… we received a beautiful pink Luxie Brush with a Rose Gold Ferul. This is perfect for blending out the crease in a smoky eye look. We aren’t sure we’ll use this too much but that’s okay. Our mini magazine did show a Morphe Brush instead of this one that was valued at $7

Lashsplash Art-ki-tekt Waterproof Slim Eyeliner

$14

Next up we have this slim eyeliner from Lashsplash. Because of it’s felt tipped finish this is great for a wing eyeliner look!

We tried this out and this is great for both miniscule liner and also for when you want to build it up and make it super glam!

Briogeo Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Perfection & Heat Protection Creme

Next we have this sample size of the Briogeo Heat Protector Creme. We’ve recently given this brand a re-try and actually liked them. So since we gave ourselves bangs we are kind of excited to experiment with this heat protector creme while we flat iron our hair.

Vita Liberata Phenomenal Organic Tan Infused Cloths

$25 (for 8 cloths)

We were most uninterested in this set of 2 Vita Liberata Tanning Cloths. We are always nervous about using tanning products – firstly because the coloring / staining and also because of our sensitive skin. Regardless, we can see why spring and summer would encourage companies to send out self tanners and big ups to anyone that loves these (it’s just our personal opinion).

Natasha Denona Mono Eye Shadow

$27

Finally in our Allure Beauty Box for April we received a single eye shadow pan from Natasha Denona! There were a few colors available and we couldn’t be more happy than we are with the color that we received!

This color is gorgeous ( we received “Morgana”). It’s a yellow orange that is absolutely stunning and makes a great front and center shade for any smoky eye look!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything arrived to us perfectly in our April Allure Beauty Box

Quality: We feel like the inclusions of Natasha Denona and Juvia’s Place really made this box stellar as far as quality

Curation: We loved this box and will definitely use each item that we received!
